Create fashion photography in the environment or in the studio!
All of my workshops give you great information and take you to amazing locations to create fantastic images.
You'll be able not only to learn but to create great images by working with models, utilize professional equipment in the
environment or at special areas with great settings.
In the studio you'll be able to create either Fashion
or Fashion Editorial with it's concepts in story telling, designing and expression.

workshops take place in different outdoor locations such as; beautiful Antelope Valley, Palm Springs, and Death Valley where
you'll be able to create beautiful images that translate into a unique touch of beauty.
WHAT WILL I LEARN????
The secret of learning how to work with models making them feel and look absolutely
beautiful.
You'll learn to utilize professional equipment and accessories from our sponsors: Samys Camera, Profoto
professional portable strobe equipment, and/or PHOTOFLEX studio lighting with various accessories that will help you achieve
technically great images. Though if necessary, you can also use electronic flash units if you bring them.
When
you come to one of Marissa's workshop, she'll take you to beautiful locations around the Antelope Valley (Poppy Flowers, Old
structures & the Dry lake), or when in Death Valley (Stovepipe Wells (sand dunes), Rhyolite (ghost town) and Armagosa).
Or in Palm Springs (Sand dunes, the wind mills, plus other).
Marissa Lopez Donatt who has been teaching for
16 years, will show you how to utilize professional equipment, with a technical clarity in handling strobe light with daylight,
using different accessories, and the magic of communicating with the models.
You'll be able to create fantastic
images with a touch of art and the look of commercial fashion.
What to bring:
Your digital camera, electronic flash units with a portable turbo battery or enough alkaline batteries, a laptop computer
with Photoshop CS4 loaded, and a jump drive (usb flash drive) to download your images in a show-n-tell setting.

beauty, happiness and creativity to your photography We can all use a little
inspiration now and then. As working photographers, we often get caught up in the day-to-day struggle of running our
business keeping clients happy, booking sessions and the technical side of our photography but we don't take time for the
little things that can help us get inspired. This workshop is designed to do just that, create inspiration to your imagination! Imag-ination: Is a class
that explores your inner creative side. It explores your imagination to the furthest depth of inspiration when creating an
image. Most
photographer's concerns develop primarily with technical skills, location, props, lighting and the subject's expression, which
are factors we'll explore in class, but Marissa will also focus on the creative, helping you to become more sensitive to your
imagination, using the feelings and expressions to create an image above average. We will immerse senses in making an image
into a fine art piece without much digital manipulation. We will work with all elements of balance, drama, love,

The Joshua Tree workshop is an overnight workshop that includes both sunset, night shooting
and sunrise. It will help you to define light and create beautiful images. You will learn how to pick time of day to create
appropriate choices to define black & white or color photography. Includes how to identify good photographs of textures
or close ups. It's a good workshop for those who need to refresh or learn the ins and outs of landscape photography to create
fine art. Painting with light or star sweep will take place during our night stay. Private shower and toilet to help you enjoy
the dessert experience. Come
